Sexual Abuse of Children

Home Topics Sexual Abuse of Children

This post is also available in: हिन्दी (Hindi)

Indian law does not see children as being physically, mentally or emotionally capable of being involved in sexual activities and sees it as a form of abuse. Adults who sexually abuse children are punished severely by the law. Those who help someone sexually abuse a child (whether the child is a boy or girl) as well as those who know about the abuse but do not report it, also face punishment.
