Protecting children during the pandemic 

The Supreme Court’s Juvenile Justice Committee has stressed on the need to improve measures for the better care, protection and well-being of children during the second wave of Covid-19. Justice Ravindra Bhat who chairs the Committee spoke about the vulnerability of children who have lost their parents to Covid-19, and the need for a mechanism to address the temporary care needs of orphans, separated, or unaccompanied children.
