The LGBTQ+ community includes many groups, and the term “LGBTQ” stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and “+” denotes the wide extent of the community. A person can choose their gender when they understand their internal and individual experience of their body, bodily appearance, speech, mannerisms etc. This is known as ‘gender identity’.
