Rights of Children
Indian rap and hip-hop started as an underground movement, but has emerged as a major cultural force over the last decade. As this format allows people to share their story in an authentic, relatable and repeatable manner, we decided to collaborate with artists to create a song that explores what it means for every child to grow up with dignity, safety, and freedom.
The song addresses essential rights for children like the right to nutritious food, education, and play; to be free from child marriage, labor, violence, and discrimination; and to speak up, express themselves, and question the world around them.
At its heart is a simple message: लहान आम्ही, आमचा मोठा अधिकार- We may be small, but our rights are big.
