Akanksha Shahi is the Manager of the Bihar Samvidhaan Fellowship at Nyaaya, where she leads initiatives to strengthen constitutional literacy and enhance access to justice across Bihar. With over seven years of experience in litigation and dispute resolution, she brings deep expertise in civil and matrimonial law. A graduate of ILS Law College, Pune, Akanksha has previously practiced before the Pune District Court and the Bombay High Court, and continues her legal practice at the Patna High Court. She has worked extensively on matters involving domestic violence, dowry harassment, family disputes, and the rights of women and children, engaging with diverse courts and legal forums. At Nyaaya, her work focuses on advancing legal awareness, supporting community-focused justice initiatives, and bridging the gap between law and the public. Outside her professional responsibilities, Akanksha enjoys reading and exploring contemporary legal thought.
