Coloring Book on Eighteen Legal Rights of Children

What if children could learn about their rights, while being engaged in a fun activity that also allows them to express themselves?

This is the idea behind Nyaaya’s latest initiative — a colouring book (available at no cost in English, Hindi, and Kannada) that turns the law into something fun, creative, and easy to understand.

These colouring books introduce children to eighteen of their legal rights, ranging from safety, education, equality, and nutrition to protection from exploitation, bullying, child labour, and child marriage. Each right is presented through age-appropriate illustrations that help children understand what it means to be safe, respected, and treated fairly.

The Hindi edition was launched on Constitution Day (26th November, 2025) in the Chanakya National Law University, Patna campus. Chief Justice Vibhu Bakhru released the book alongside other dignitaries.

To commemorate Children’s Day, Nyaaya, in collaboration with the Karnataka State Legal Services Authority (KSLSA), released the Kannada edition of the colouring book at a legal literacy programme in Raichur on 15th November, 2025.

These coloring books also reflect Nyaaya’s ongoing work to make legal information simple and actionable for everyday life.
