Manisha Gaikwad-Shikhare

Advocate Manisha Gaikwad-Shikhare has over 13 years of litigation
experience in family, criminal, and civil law. She holds an LL.B. from
Government Law College, Mumbai, and an LL.M. in Constitutional
and Administrative Law from the University of Mumbai.
She is currently the Programme Manager – Samvidhaan Fellowship,
Maharashtra at Nyaaya, leading initiatives on access to justice and legal
empowerment. Previously, she worked with a law firm and with Prayas
(TISS) as a Legal Fellow, where she supported undertrial prisoners,
conducted legal awareness programmes in prisons and communities with
the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), and provided legal
counselling and pro bono legal assistance. Beyond her professional work,
she enjoys reading, singing, and contributing to community service
initiatives that create meaningful social impact.
