Pranali Wankar
Samvidhaan Fellowship Manager, Maharashtra
Pranali leads the Samvidhaan Fellowship in Maharashtra. With over 16 years of experience across litigation and the development sector, she has worked extensively on issues of gender-based violence, child rights, women’s rights, queer rights, and disability rights.
She has previously led programs at various organizations, including SNEHA (Mumbai), TOLI (Delhi NCR), and the Invisible Scars Foundation. Additionally, she is a certified trainer in Gender and Sexuality, SRHR, and Maternal Health and Nutrition from SNEHA, as well as Feminist Leadership and Movement Building, with certifications from organizations such as CREA, TARSHI, and WAYVE. She holds an LLM in Constitutional and Administrative Law and a certificate in Entrepreneurship from IIM-B.
She began her career as an advocate, practicing for seven years including before the Bombay High Court, before moving into program leadership roles in the development sector. Her work has focused on survivor-centric legal counselling, systemic reforms, and building institutional capacities to make the justice system more inclusive and accessible.
Beyond her professional commitments, Pranali is deeply connected to the arts. She is trained in Kathak dance and finds joy in creative expression. In her free time, she loves spending time with her child, exploring drawing and painting as a way to unwind and nurture creativity.
