Shubha R. Gaonkar has been practising in Karwar, Uttara Kannada district, for over 20 years. She graduated from National Law College, Shivamogga, and has handled a wide range of matters including criminal, civil, labour, family, and welfare-related cases.
She has served as a Special Public Prosecutor for POCSO cases and is a former Member of the Child Welfare Committee. She has also worked as a counsellor with the CDPO under the Domestic Violence Act and has contributed to access to justice through her service with the District Legal Services Authority. She currently practises independently before all courts in Karwar, with a strong focus on women’s and children’s welfare
