Getting bail during the Covid-19 pandemic

The Supreme Court has temporarily suspended an order of the Allahabad High Court which said that fear of death from Covid-19 could be a reason to grant anticipatory bail. The Supreme Court said that courts must consider bail applications on their legal merits, like the nature and seriousness of the offence.
