can you please tell what is the legal document to prove one has an allotted car parking in apartment a person has bought.
we have a dispute in our apartment regarding parking space allotted/not allotted/not allotted.
I read on internet that car parking (open) cannot be sold rather can be just allotted by the builder/owner and such allotment should be mentioned in yhe registration document.
one of the apartment owner is showing schedule B section of registration document ans stating that one the basis of schedule B that owner has right to be allotted a parking space (enclosing the screenshot of schedule B). this schedule B is same on every apartment’s registration document.
another apartment owner has clearly got it mentioned in his registration document that he is being allotted one car parking.

Usually, the legal document about the parking space is the Builder-Buyer agreement (sale agreement) or Apartment Deed. It will mention whether you have been allocated a parking space. Parking areas (except enclosed garages) can only be allotted, and not sold separately, as real estate law states that they are common areas belonging to the apartment society. You can check your State-specific apartment ownership law (Karnataka, Maharashtra, Delhi, etc.) to know more.
