Can I get an abortion during the lockdown?

According to the notice issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, abortion is included under essential health services that must be delivered during the Covid-19 lockdown. This includes both medical and surgical abortions. In additions, contraceptives must be provided at public health facilities, and  information about the delayed availability of IUCDs and sterilization services should be displayed at public health facilities.
